After The Storm

Yesterday afternoon the sky got dark. Really dark. I’ve got my phone set up to receive weather alerts and received a Flash Flood warning for my area. Yikes! And then the heavens opened up and the rain come down. Pouring down.

We needed it and the flowers and garden couldn’t be happier. See what I mean?

This is the most awesome hanging basket full of huge red zonal geraniums, purple sweet potato vine and variegated verbena.

Along the front walks the flower beds have all been planted and mulched. I love this ground cover. Just wish I could remember what it's called.

This Jackmanii Clematis is planted by the mailbox and is chock full of blooms. This purple is absolutely stunning.

Except for the carrots, zucchini and acorn squash which haven’t come up yet, the gardens are doing great. They made it through the storm unscathed. Yay!
