I love Thanksgiving. Why? Well, for starters it’s a holiday where you get to eat yourself silly with family and friends. You don’t have to worry about gifts or celebrating a particular religious tradition. It’s really all about being thankful – and shopping.
Seriously, as I run around doing last minute Thanksgiving meal prep and getting the house ready for my sister and her family’s visit, I’m thinking about what I’m thankful for.
A few things immediately come to mind:
- My husband and kids
- Good health
- Friends who support and encourage me to be my best self
- My stove
My list wouldn’t be complete without telling you all about what’s been going on with Kimversations this year. Thanks to you visits to the blog have increased. More of you are following me on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.
More blogging opportunities have come my way. I’ve had a ball reviewing cheese, touring dairy farms, visiting NY wine country and attending store openings. I’m even reviewing local restaurants for Capital Region Living magazine.
All of this is because of the interest you all have shown in my humble little blog. Thanks so much!
To show my appreciation I have a giveaway for you. When I attended the American Dairy Council and Dairy Association’s Farm to Table weekend last month as a guest blogger, they gave me this neat bag of goodies – insulated lunch bag, apron (not pictured), oven mitt, cheese or dip spreaders, wine bottle stop, cow stress toy, teak bread board, kid’s milk activity book and an awesome Taste of New York cookbook.
I’m happy to share this bag of goodies (valued at $80!) with you. To enter all you have to do is leave a comment sharing what you’re thankful for.
Thanks Giveaway ends at noon (EST) on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22. One winner will be picked randomly by the “And The Winner Is” widget. One entry per person, please. I’ll announce the winner on Black Friday, November 23.
Good luck!
And the winner is . . . Janice! Congratulations. You’re goodie bag is on its way!
