And my 2014 holiday sparkling wine pick this year is . . .
I was introduced to Prosecco Zonin last week at a Sparkling Wine & Pie mixer that Healthy Living Market invited me to attend. Prosecco Zonin has a nice, gentle bubbly quality. It’s semi-dry with floral and apple notes. I bought six bottles because we’re going to have a house full of family and friends and we all love a good Bellini. We also like top off a glass of prosecco with a little cranberry juice and a touch of St. Germain (elderflower liqueur).
You might have noticed that I mentioned pie. I was pleased, and surprised, to find that their Thanksgiving pies are not only available the ‘traditional’ way but they also make them gluten-free AND they even make a vegan apple pie.
These pies are available seasonally and you can order them online or stop in and pick one up. You can get Prosecco Zonin at Healthy Living’s Divine Wine’s store that’s right next to the market. It’s $11.99 a bottle.
Disclosure: I shop at Healthy Living Market in Saratoga. I especially like their bulk food section and spices. In addition to enjoying some sparkling wine and pie, they also gave me a gift certificate to use on my next shopping trip.
