I’ve lived in the Northeast my entire life – New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania. I love that we get to experience all the seasons but Fall is, hands down, my favorite.
This is what Fall looks like in my neighborhood.
Much as I love this season, I’m just not good at decorating my home for Fall. I’ve got a cute wreath on my door and a beautiful bright yellow bunch of mums at the front door.
So I went looking for inspiration and this is what I found . . . and I’m sharing it with you.
Take a three-tiered stand and turn it into something spectacular. (Willow Wisp Cottage)
I love shiny things, don’t you? Paint pumpkins or mini gourds with metallic paint. (Better Homes & Garden)
I really, really like this idea from Four Generations One Roof. You can glue just about anything to the pumpkins – keys, sticks, raffia – whatever. This idea works outside or on a mantel. The sky’s the limit.
I can’t promise that I’m going to up my game this season, but I’m inspired. I would love to hear how you decorate for the season.
