My husband Mark makes the perfect Cosmopolitan. Okay, I admit it. I’m a sucker for a pink drink. I don’t like drinks that are particularly sweet, but there’s something about a Cosmo. It’s feminine and a little sophisticated. Those aren’t words that necessarily describe me, but I do love them.
An excellent Cosmo can be made at home. Not by me, of course, but by my husband Mark.
Here’s his recipe:
Mark’s Perfect Cosmo
3 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
4 oz. Cranberry juice
Combine in a shaker, pour into a chilled martini glass and serve with a wedge of lime.
Note: Don’t plan on doing anything productive after you enjoy this cocktail!
