Pot Stickers

- 2-3 ounces Jones Dairy Farm Original Pork Sausage
- 1 small Napa cabbage, end trimmed and then cut in quarters lengthwise and then across into ½" pieces
- 1 carrot, peeled and julienned
- 1" piece of ginger, grated
- ¼ teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2-3 drops sesame oil
- ½ package square wonton wraps (the small ones)
- vegetable oil for pan frying
- ½ cup chicken broth or water
- In a large skillet, brown the sausage.
- Add the cabbage, carrot, ginger and garlic.
- Cook till just tender over medium high heat, about 4-6 minutes.
- Add the sauces and sesame oil. Cook another minute.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Make the dumplings, folding into whatever shape you like. A simple triangle is just fine.
- Place on a moist tea towel or paper towel while filling them.
- Heat a nonstick pan over medium high heat with just enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom.
- Add the pot stickers.
- When they start to brown and stick to the bottom, add the chicken broth or water and quickly cover.
- Reduce heat and let steam for 3-4 minutes.
