Razimus Jewelry

by Kimberly Hickok

I’m a pretty simple girl when it comes to jewelry. I tend to gravitate towards pieces that look great with jeans or if I’m dressed up for date night. Recently I had the opportunity to meet Virginia Fretto, the creative genius behind Razimus Jewelry. Her jewelry definitely fits my style requirements – casual to dressy.

Why didn’t I come up with this idea??? I love bracelets, especially metal cuffs, but they’re kind of a pain when you’re typing on a laptop all the time. I end up taking them off because they’re just too clunky. Apparently this same conundrum sparked the inspiration for Virginia’s brilliant idea: upcycled fabric from ties (or other vintage fabrics) and other sustainable fabric to create jewelry that is stylish, durable but not clunky. G-E-N-I-U-S!

Look how pretty . . .

My favorite are the pieces she makes that can be worn as a necklace OR a bracelet. This is the Basia. Gorgeous, right? And it’s made from organic cotton.

As Virginia puts it:

Fashion design meets jewelry design…

Redefining traditional jewelry, Razimus Jewelry fabric stacking bracelets, neck-to-wristwear, and statement necklaces won’t weight you down like metal jewelry and are eco-designed & handmade from upcycled & organic designer fabrics.

I like that her jewelry is handmade and the mindfulness that goes into each piece. Here are more pieces that I adore:

Many of the designs are made to order which gives Virginia’s product that extra personal touch. You can also find Razimus Jewelry here.

Update: May 31, 2016

It’s been a year since my original post about the wonderful Virginia Fretto and Razimus Jewelry (original post May 1, 2015). I just purchased two beautiful bracelets at one of her Pop Up Shop events. Not only is she talented, she’s also a giver. 10% of all sales proceeds from March through May she is donating to the American Diabetes Association.

Check out my new bling!
