On June 1, 2013 Leah’s Cakery opened. I absolutely adore what she has done with her space at 3 Curry Avenue in Round Lake.

Leah’s Cakery specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes, muffins, scones AND cinnamon buns.
Leah’s cinnamon buns are spectacular.

And did I mention that Leah is really involved in giving back to the community? Since July, I’ve been stopping by early each Thursday morning doing my Squash Hunger food pickup. Leah contributes any ‘day old’ baked goods she has to my Thursday morning food pantry pickup. AWESOME!

I’m not a big cupcake fan but I have to confess that I really, really like her chocolate cupcakes.
Leah has done a wonderful job with the interior. Can’t you just picture yourself enjoying a coffee and a sweet treat here? So homey.
Don’t forget. Pie season is right around the corner. Until then, why not have a cookie???
