I’ve been wanting to do a giveaway for a while and decided to do it today. Why?
- It’s the first Monday of a new year.
- I appreciate all of those that supported the blog this past year.
- Because I finally found something that is just so adorable and practical too!
These are the warmest slippers ever and they don’t look like your grandma’s slippers. See what I mean?
Women’s large (9/10) but will comfortably fit a size 8 too. They’re valued at $25 but for you (if you win), they’re free! And who doesn’t like free?!?!
Giveaway Rules:
- You must live in the US or Canada.
- You must be a Facebook fan/friend or Google connect public follower.
- You must leave a comment on this post answering the following question – What is your goal/resolution for 2011? To increase your chances, you can make a second comment if you post about this giveaway on your blog. Just be sure to include the link in your comment.
The contest will run all week. Entries will be accepted until Midnight EST on Friday, January 7. The winner will be picked randomly and will be announced on Saturday.

I think my goal for 2011 is to be a bit easier and forgiving of myself. I like so many of us, do so much, and on a daily basis some small things slip through the cracks. No these are not things I think are not important; I will call instead because I did not remember the birthday to the last minute; I call because mail and letters do not find a way into my already overflowing schedule. I give so much of my time that oft times my own family does not get enough of me. So forgiveness of me is going to be the goal this year. I am going to be kinder to myself and make time for myself first and hopefully that will make a less stressed Gigi. Your blog is wonderful in that I see the things you find time to do and I think, hey maybe next week, oops, no filled up –haha.
Thanks for taking time to offer all of us fans a little something extra. I always look forward to your fun tips, ideas and recipes! I really enjoy reading through your articles! I only wear a size 7…but thought I would take a moment to say “Hello” and “Thanks for thinking about us!” Have a wonderful New Year!!! I am praying that this year is a happy, healthy, and prosperous one for each of us! Keep up the great work!
This year I will try to be more tolerant and understanding of those around me.
I have resolved not to make any new resolutions until I finish those from 2007!
~ Funny response, but then again, maybe you’re not joking!
My resolution this year is to not have resolutions, but hard-core goals – just like dreams are goals w/o deadlines. I should say, though, that I resolve myself to getting a job, really getting my ‘GrowYourDreamBiz.com mentoring business well off the ground, accepting help when needed/offered, working harder towards my black belt…that’s a good start!
Not so much a resolution but….to focus on the important things–health, family ties, strong friendships and to leave the Rat Race without one more rat. I have change my focus in real estate to a “referral only” basis to be able to focus fully on those who are committed to invest their time and efforts as much as I am. Time is not a commodity we can get back so I intend to spend mine wisely…on those things that matter most.
My new year’s resolution is to focus on my own health. I’ve been so focused on both my daughter and husband’s health over the past 5 years (both have life threatening medical conditions) that I neglected my own. The wake up call came when I went for my physical in early December and my blood pressure was 156/108. If I don’t take care of myself, then I can’t take care of my family.
~ Good point!
Well, where do I start? My resolutions are many this year..
)
1. To be the BEST wife I can be
2. To complete my Oncology Certification this year
3. To get into the best shape of my life
4. To start doing yoga more regularly
5. To be more present in the moment ( Sounds a bit too Oprah-ish but trust you me…it has NADA to do with Oprah
6. To successfully complete another year of school
7. To improve my waterskiing
8. To find a job that fullfills me on every level
9. To be a better person, all around…( I know, Kim…you probably don’t think that is possible…do you?! haha )
I will try to have a healthy lifestyle, be happy and try to be kind to others!
Thanks for the cool giveaway Kim! My resolution this year is to strive to make others around me happier and more successful. (obviously making myself happy is important, but I need to focus more on those around me). A resolution that relates to my kids: Do more learning activities!
Thanks-
Colleen
My resolution is to become more healthy, which means work out and loose some weight so I can get off BP meds and so that I won’t need Chloresterol meds to start. Also, to stop procrastinating and saying I work best under pressure. (I work great anytime, so why wait til its under pressure….ha ha ) Also to be more vocal about what I want and what I will do and what I won’t do, say NO and stick to it. I will not be in the house with my father-in-law any more than I absolutely have to. (Thank God I have the store to recluse to)
